Works very good for my very stubborn basset hounds. So happy I bought this!

My dog was previously trained on an invisible fence. We built a new home and the yard is not finished yet. I bought this for a temporary fix. He knew exactly what the beep meant so no further training was needed. It’s working so well I plan to make this our permanent solution. It was very easy to set up.

This is by far the best perimeter fence we have purchased. We had a wired fence and it was a pain in the tush. This one being wireless is amazing and it is worth every penny! We live on over an acre and the terrain is varied. Some uphills, some downhills. I works very well on uneven terrain. Other reviewers have said that it isn't reliable, ours is working great. We have even taken it camping with us to keep the dogs off the tether and in our campsite. It easily adjusts to different distances, depending on what you have going on.Some reviewers say that the collars don't hold a charge, I feel that this is due to the amount the dog wearing the collar, is testing the perimeter. If you have an animal that is constantly testing the perimeter then, yes, you will have a battery that doesn't last very long. If you have a dog that you have taken to the edge and he/she were shocked, then I think you'll have a dog that stays within the bounderies! It is important to spend some time with the animal, to make sure they are aware of what happens if they don't come back when it begins to beep. Right now, we could have the collars on "beep only" and they wouldn't leave. As a note, if you have smaller or thin skinned dogs (we have Schnauzers), there is no need to crank up the shock during training. We did this and it was hard to get them off the porch! I (personally) didn't think this was neccessary but my husband wanted to give them full throttle because they had been huge runners. They don't run anymore. They are happy with the area they have which is the maximum the fence will allow. 210' circumferance.I can't say enough about this and if anyone has any doubts, you shouldn't. I especially like the part about it being portable as we RV quite a bit. Bottom line?? I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!! Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

My husband & son put this up and everything within an hour. Put the collars on the dogs after we charged them overnight and our 2 dogs haven’t left the boundaries since. Before they ran off all the time. It’s been great! The collars batteries have lasted 2-3weeks before needing charged. It was alot of money but worth it

I've had the in-ground invisible fence from Petsafe for years with good experience, but it seems to regularly have problems and of course the dog only gets a correction as they pass over the wire. With the wireless fence, the dog continues to get corrections until they move back inside the fence. My dogs learned it instantly!I built a box to hold it outside so I could get the range I wanted (to let them go on the dock and swim in the lake) but found that it needed to further toward the from. So, I purchased a transmitter only, which looked completely different than the first one. The first one was the one for stubborn dogs and second was the regular one. It turns out they work perfectly together and their circles overlap so I get the area I want covered.

Not built to be water resistant. Manual says indoor use only. However, works great on our 14 month old 65 pound Golden Doodle. Keeps him in the yard.Update 4/28/23: system quit working. Spent about 15 minutes on the phone with customer support. They believe the receiver in the collar went bad and are sending me a new one. We shall see🤔

We have three Doggo's of all three sizes of Large, Medium, and Small ( Great Dane, Bull Terrier, and Min-Pin) and it keeps all three of them in the area that we set for the transmitter. Training the the dogs is the hardest part of this set up, which for our three wasn't too bad at all and that's saying a lot as all three can be stubborn. Reading other reviews before buying I was worried about the quality of the collar and it's not an issue. Well built just have to follow the instructions and not leave it on the Doggo for more than 12hrs at a time ( For us we just put on the collars when were outside or they are utilizing the lawn). I think this is a little bit over priced and is the only thing that I would complain about but the results are definitely worth it.

Adopting sibling puppies is a challenge. Our pups just turned ten months old and their antics have been wearing our patience thin. (we love them to pieces.) While we have an acre and a half yard we are bordered by a busy highway and a township road. Keeping them from chasing after walkers, trucks and bikes seemed impossible. Prior to our purchase of the PetSafe stay and play system and second receiver collar we used Dogtra collars to ensure rapid recall on walks. The reason I mention this is because those collars trained them to warning vibrations and the need to return to us. I believe that step is why they were trained with the Petsafe system in just two days. This system has given our pups the freedom to enjoy our yard without tethering. This freedom has reduced their barking significantly--much to the relief of our good and patient neighbors. I cannot tell you how relieved we are to be able to let them out in the morning and know they are safe and seem much happier. I know we are. We recommend this product. We live in a very snowy climate. It will be interesting to see if this works as well when the snow falls.

This set is a game changer for pet owners! My original house had a fenced in yard so I never had to worry about a system to keep my two dogs safely in the yard. I now live in the country on a small farm and my two hunting dogs would roam the country if they could. I bought two sets of this system because I wanted to be able to give the boys more area to roam and run. Easiest thing to install, you just plug the base in and adjust the settings (we have ours set to high and the furthest length). I have an 8 and 6 year old Brittany spaniel who have never had to wear collars like these before and it took a few hours of training them (as the manual suggests) to get them used to using them. It has been a few months now and they are so used to their boundary that the pet safe system has made for them that even when they don’t have the collars on, they WILL NOT go past the boundary. The collars do not need to be set to a high voltage level at all, it delivers quite the static “shock” (not a real shock) to them alerting them to get back within the boundary. The boys are 42 and 45 pounds with fluffy Brittany spaniel hair so we switched the prongs on the collars to the long prongs and they work perfectly. I would highly highly recommend this system to any dog owner. Way less expensive than an in-ground system, much less work and easy to set up. The other thing I love about it is that I can pack it up and take it anywhere as long as I can plug it in. We go camping and take the boys to my parents house quite often and I can easily set them up anywhere. This is a must for anyone wanting to keep their doggies safe in the yard!!

Very happy with the range and the ease of setting up the range and the setting up the collar's even adding the extra. Thrilled it worked and was easy to train the new pups and the older dog.
