[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a brilliant shaver. It gives a close and comfortable shave and I had no post shave irritation at all with this one. Out of the box it comes well packaged and looks to be really high quality. The only negative thing for me was the use of plastic bags for all of the parts. It seems unecessary considering how good the cardboard packaging is. Along with the shaver is a charging cradle with USB cable, travel case and cleaning brush. The shaver easily connects to the Philips GroomTribe app on mobile phones via Bluetooth - this has some really nice features like the guided shave. It monitors your shave in real time and gives you feedback and directs you to a better shaving technique. This was really useful for me as I have not used this style of shaver before and I found the diagram based instructions confusing and difficult to follow. The app also keeps a history of your shaves and has a link to Philips customer care. I highly recommend this shaver, it is by far the best and most comfortable I have ever used.

No snagging / pulling of hairs at all - still leaves a perfect finish, even when in a rush in the morning! Really impressed with the quality and finish after the shave. Tried the wet shave for the first time for a laugh - again works really well, just not me, however in terms of cleaning, it's great, nice feature, the lid lifts to air dry quicker. Cracking battery life, neat charging station as well. So much better that my previous shaver of a similar style, different brand. Would highly recommend, a solid premium shaver. Added to father in law’s Christmas present list already!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Reviewing this electric shaver has been made so easy by being such a great product to use. The shaver is a nice design, easy to hold and lightweight. There is a nice display screen that shows you certain icons for modes, settings etc. you’ll need to look them up in the manual to understand them apart from the battery one, I got that one. Charging the shaver didn’t take very long and it comes with a nice stand to dock it in and a USB cable, which is a nice touch, however, if you’re like me and would prefer to keep your shaver in the bathroom, then it would have been nice to include an adapter, I understand the world we live in is aiming at reducing waste, but it would have been a nice touch to have. The shaver also has Bluetooth built into it, which we all adding Bluetooth makes anything better. This can then connect to the Philips GroomTribe app for hints, tips and keep a log of your shaving record, that’s something in life I didn’t know I needed. Now the performance of the shaver is outstanding, I experienced no irritation after shaving and it leaves my skin nice and smooth, if you follow the guides on the App you really can notice the difference. Now I’ve used this shaver for a few weeks now and the battery life has been great, and if you like to know the exact percentage of the battery the app will tell you. Now I haven’t tried to use it with wet skin as that is likely to leave your skin red after shaving, but other reviews of the 8000 S8692/35 Wet and Dry electric shaver have been positive. Overall, I have very pleased with this shaver, there is the option to purchase the cleaning pods for it, but I haven’t tried this yet, I’m sure they work well, I use to own an older model with a cleaning option, and I can only imagine it’s as good or better as I find Philips is a company that doesn’t go backwards. I would leave some photos, but other reviews have got plenty that would look the same as might. This is a great shaver, and I am sure you will be very happy with yours if you are going to purchase one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I know is meant to only be used in the face, but I've also tried it in my chest to see if there are any ingrowth hairs - NOTHING. Ingrowth hair around my neck area has reduced 65%. No ingrowth hair in my chest AT ALL. Always used in dry, I'm a little bit scared to use it in the shower. The back trimmer is not that great - reason why it's it falls when you are using it, so it might led to aesthetic error. It should be more stable. My brother uses a competitive brand for his shaving and he agrees this machine is top level, and it also thinks it prevents ingrowth hair. I will try soon in wet to see if it also improves the experience - so far great and would recommend.

When I first started using it, I wasn't too keen on it. I found it to be quite sensitive on my face and it didn't deliver the clean shave I was hoping for. However, as I continued to use it and learned how to use it properly, I was pleasantly surprised by the results. My morning routine time was significantly reduced and my shave was much cleaner. One thing that helped me was the app that came with the shaver. It provided me with tips and techniques that made all the difference in improving my shaving experience. Once I started using these techniques, I didn't experience any sensitivity on my face. Now, I can confidently say that I would not go back to my old style shaver. The performance of the Phillips shaver is excellent and I'm very happy with the results. In fact, I've recommended it to a few of my friends who have been looking for a new electric shaver themselves. Overall, if you're looking for a shaver that can deliver a clean and efficient shave, the Phillips electric shaver is definitely worth considering. It may take a little bit of time to get used to, but once you do, you'll be happy with the results.

All 3 of the shavers move to fit in the gaps of your neck and any awkward areas and is very sensitive and gentle. I have extremely sensitive skin and this is the first shaver to have the experience of not leaving your skin dry and Irritable. The motion is smooth and precise and very easy to use and works the same on a wet shave or dry skin. The charge is very good - did approx 10 shaves before charging. I used on top of ears as had hairs and also very gentle and surprised how easy it is with the movement of the 3 blades. Extremely easy to clean with one click and rinse. Lightweight and is a stylish shaver that fits nicely on its stand and the added feature I really liked you can connect it to the app which gives you feedback and recommendation of your skin. I honestly find it hard to fault the Item in anyway. Best Shaver I have even owned and results show with my skin feeling more healthy.
