I purchased this at the advice of a blogger I know who travels a lot. We've purchased many portable battery chargers over the last few years. After a recent trip that required a lot of phone chargers to be used in one day when my phone kept dying (I was taking and posting too many photos/videos to social media), I became frustrated with them not charging our Samsung Galaxy S9+ past 30% or only charging one phone before needing to be recharged to use again. I vowed after that trip to find a good charger that will actually work. So when this one went on sale for Black Friday and it was highly recommended, I figured I'd give it a chance. This charger is a BEAST!!! I charged it with the double cords as noted and it charged in a fairly reasonable time (can't remember exact time, but maybe 5-6 hours). My husband has a charger that takes all day to charge, so the charge time on this one was a plus. But what really makes this a great battery charger is the fact that I charged my Samsung Galaxy S9+ FIVE times before I finally charged this battery again since it only had one light left. That is insane when other battery packs I have will only do one charge before needing to be plugged in again to recharge. I've yet to travel with this yet, but will definitely be making it my only charger to pack in my luggage versus the five I brought with me on the last trip (so yay for losing weight in the luggage and condensing space). My only complaint is that it is pretty heavy, but the other large ones I have are about as heavy, so it's to be expected. I'll gladly trade the weight for a charger that will recharge my phone as many times as this one did. I'm keeping my eye on this for another sale so that I can purchase one for my family in case of bad weather again.

I play a lot of AR games like Pokémon Go and such so having a great battery like this to charge my phone and Bluetooth headphones/earphones is great. 6 hours to charge using the dual input and it already comes with 2 cords you just need the wall block that can handle it. I usually charge it while I’m at work. I can usually charge my iPhone X about 4 or 5 times along with getting a full charge multiple times for my Bluetooth audio devices. Love the carrying bag since I can fit other cords in and even my phone while it’s charging. One of the downsides is the heat it emits while charging occasionally. Nothing to crazy but it does get a little warm from time to time. The multiple charging ports are great as long as you have the cord you need. Handled a day at an amusement park great. Played lots of jams on the drive to and from and played PoGo and Ingress while exploring the park. #VivaLaResistance #Smurf4Life

A lot of reviews on this product have been that it is big and heavy. Well....it is a 26,800mAH battery! That is to be expected. That's like 10 average cell phone batteries. This is my second ANKER external battery product I've owned. I bought an early ANKER external battery that lasted me for about 3 years. After that, expectedly, the battery started to not take and hold charge. Lithium batteries do not last forever, so it is just part of owning one. When it was time to buy a new one, I came across this 26,800 mAH battery and after reading up on it, decided it was for me. Even though this is big, this will provide you with a few full battery recharges before you need to charge the device itself. Also, it allows you to plug in two charging cords so that you can recharge the battery even faster. With three available output ports, I can have my phone, my wife's phone, and my daughters phone all plugged in at once charging! I'm an ANKER fan for life.

I know Anker is a quality reputable company, so I didn't want to chance a purchase with anyone else. I've bought a lot of backup batteries over the years and they've been very cheap, short-lived units. But this thing - it is first and foremost a BEAST of a battery. It will keep my phone charged all week without having to plug it in. I'm not a power user on a cell, so that makes a difference, I suppose. But it is so convenient to travel with because you just toss it in your laptop bag and it's waiting for you. You can use it in the airport when there's no other charging ports around or available. And you don't have to look all over someone's house for an outlet at night. This is the biggest battery the airlines will allow and it sails right through TSA without any hassle. It's heavy and I know it's well built. I like the exterior grainy texture. Overall it's just a great product. No criticisms.

I got this chonk in my MosPack backpack, ready to charge me and my wife's phones as well as our laptop on the go at any time. It's a pretty sweet setup. Cablemanagment in a backpack? Pretty sweet. This thing works as you'd expect, and the capacity is definitely overkill. I haven't used it a ton yet, but did notice that it doesn't seem to automatically charge when you plug a device in. I need to verify this with more use, but that is a bit of a pain, because as I said, this is all contained in a nice little network in my backpack- meaning I would like to be able to just throw my phone into a side pocket and have it charge without having to go into the main pocket and hit the button on the battery pack. Otherwise, perfect piece of kit.

Way better than the highly rated solar one i bought.

This is a quality product made by Anker. I have used their cables for years and purchased this bank in Jan. 2019. I have used it daily and it is awesome! A couple of things about this that make it a cut above all of the other banks I have. 1) Dual charging. I didn't think that this was much of a feature but it is one of the best things about this bank. I can drain the charge down to nothing, plug it in overnight (both charging cables connected) and it is fully charged. 2) Huge capacity. This bank can support 3 devices simultaneously and not only hold the charge in them but actually charge them up to 100%. This will take some time but if you monitor it you can see the the charge percentage climbing. One proviso I would offer: They provide two shorter micro USB charging cables. Use them. The micro USB tips on the cables are just a little bit longer than the standard ones and this makes all the difference when charging. I used a Samsung Galaxy 8 charging cable and it inserted fine but it didn't augment the charging speed. I went back to the supplied cables and the bank was fast charging again. It has 4 LEDs to indicate the charge status, when you get down below 1 LED it will start blinking to let you know that you're almost out of power. I have used a lot of different banks from different manufacturers and this one is by far the most consistent and reliable. Because of the capacity, this bank does weigh a bit more than some of the others but that just means there are more batteries built into it. I'm ordering another one in white for my wife. Great product!!

What can I say, this thing is a tank. I love the fact that I can connect two chords to it to charge it quicker! I've never seen that before. As far as charging devices, this thing can do a lot. It charges my phone, tablet, and anything else you put to it. I even used it to charge bettery operated LED safety lights. Its a bit big, so make sure you have ample space in whatever backpack or bag you use. I got this for power outages and emergency use mostly as I already have a smaller Anker charger I use on the daily basis. I've tested it and got 5 full charges from about empty on my Samsung S20 plus. I still had one light left on the indicator, so maybe I could have gotten another half or full charge?

So I came from a smaller Anker 8,000 mAh Battery from about 3 years ago to this....GHEESH!!! I was really shocked. With this one I charged a Note 9 and it's Zero Lemon 5,000 mAh Battery Case, a portable LED camping light, topped off a Tablet, charged an LG Handsfree, what else...idk, point is the capacity on this thing is just nuts!! I think i might have gotten it down to the last light. And I mean it's a lot of charge really that it puts out, and advertised as such, but I just thought it would be like 70% or something of what they said; and i'd say it's definately higher than that for real. And to say also, i've charged so many things USB, I really am thrilled with it's performance. I've had it for about two weeks now, and four charge cycles, and it's worked flawmessly! I should note that the only downside is the amount of time it takes to charge on a mobile charger. I'm not even really sure because I drive a Semi, and just leave it plugged in for the longest while, but I want to say maybe somewhere between 3.5 to 5 hours with both charge cables on a dual output anker charger. And just a forewarning, it'll get hot given the opportunity really quick, so don't put it anywhere near the sun, or like in a dash cove where it gets heat soak from the dash heater vents (Freightliner's), and what not.

UPDATE: Anker contacted me to offer a replacement. It was delivered the day after I sent them the delivery address. The unit seems more solid than the one it replaced. They sent 2 USB charging cables. These two are far superior to the ones they replaced. The original ones were as flimsy as produce bag twist ties. The new unit charges much faster than the original one. Only 3 hours to charge. The original unit took about 4 or 5 days. I am a driver and need to have a charger which can charge more than one device all day long. The original unit died after one day. The new unit took a week to discharge. The original unit was a dud. This new unit works as advertised. The original unit is heavy enough to remain as a door stop. The new unit will go with me everywhere. Several years ago, I purchased a charger from Anker and it lasted longer than it was supposed to. This is why I was shocked and upset that the new one I purchased was so inferior. Good to know it was a dud and the replacement one works as well as the one I purchased years ago. Faith restored. *************** One of the two USB cables is defective. Completely dead. It won't charge anything. The other one is so-so. It takes 2 days to charge the Anker. The Anker is good for only 1 day (charging an Android phone) before it is completely drained. I am stuck with a sleeking, and expensive, door stop.
