I was given this hair care item to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I loved how quickly this curling iron heated up. The temperature control was easy to see and adjust. Also, unlike other curling irons I’ve used, you can’t accidentally push the on/off button or temperature control when using it. The large size of the barrel was great for making smooth waves. For a tighter curl, I would definitely recommend using a smaller size. Overall, I loved the look, feel, and results of this product. I would try and use other sizes of their curling irons in the future.

I got this 1 1/4” 24K Gold Extended Barrel Curling Iron for free from the Stellar Product Testing Panel but the opinions here are based on our own experiences. It heated up pretty fast. The handle was easy and comfortable to hold. I loved that it had different heat settings which makes it great for anyone to use. The cord was pretty long which is great for standing back and moving around. The size was good and the curls came out really nice. I had no problems with this and now have used several times. Definitely recommend. I got better results from using this than others.

This curling iron is the perfect size! It creates the perfect beachy waves and soft loose curls, which is the style I prefer if I'm going to curl it. I have long, thick hair and this iron holds my curls well. I use it like a curling wand without the clip and it works perfect still! It has a good temperature range, and it heats up in less than a minute. I've had a smaller Hot Tools iron for almost 15 years that's still working great, and this one feels like similar quality so I'm hoping it lasts just as long. I really like to curl my hair but they usually do not last. After using the Hot Tools Curl Protector in my hair before curling made my curls last all day. This is a 1 1/4” barrel, perfect size for curls. Heats up in 30 seconds. Heat goes up to 430F. I keep it pretty low to get a beach curl look. This curling iron is amazing! I have used so many different irons for myself and my daughter, who is a competitive dancer, and this one is my favorite so far. It gets hot SUPER fast and it gets really hot. The barrel is also really smooth so it’s glides effortlessly through your hair without pulling or tangling. I was able to curl all of my hair in under 30 minutes and the curls lasted ALL day! I prefer this barrel size as I am able to create tighter curls and it looks like a really nice, professional product. As hit as the barrel gets, the piece at the end to hold does not heat up, which is not the case with all curling irons, so you have more control when shaping your curls. I did some loose waves and curled in order to brush through for volume but I am excited to try more curl styles with this. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this amazing curling iron. I used this with Hot Tools Pro Artist Curl Protector Heat & Style Protecting Curl Mousse to make sure my hair was heat protected and that my curls would last and they definitely did! The curling iron is great quality and heats up very quickly. It works so well that I didn’t need to go up too high of a heat and my hair curled effortlessly and the curls stayed all day. The true test was on my mom’s hair who is in her 60s and loves to add a flip to her hair but nothing works or stays. This curling iron worked wonders on her hair texture and stayed all day! Would definitely recommend.

Thank you to the Stellar product testing panel for sending me this curling iron. Right out of the box I could tell this curling iron was professional quality. I love the look of the gold barrel. The iron heated up very quickly and stayed hot the entire time I was curling my hair. This made for very fast styling time, which is a bonus. It took me about 20 minutes to curl all of my hair. The 1 1/4 inch barrel is the perfect size, not too big not too small. My favorite feature of this iron is that it heats up quick and stays hot! Definitely would recommend this curling iron!

Overall, I really like this curling iron. It's one of the best that I've used. I have pretty fine hair with natural very loose waves. My hair struggles to hold it's style so a good tool and product is key for me. The quality of this curling iron is excellent and it seems very sturdy and durable. I'm a bit clumsy so it's nice to feel confident that this product will hold up even if I accidentally knock it off my bathroom sink. I like that it has an on off switch, as well as the adjustable temperature. The adjustable temperature is great so that you can get it hot enough depending on how coarse your hair is, but minimize heat damage at the same time. Another important feature is that the base where the cord connects swivels so that the cord doesn't get tangled as you wrap the hair around it. It was quick to warm up which is a plus for me as I'm always in a rush when I'm doing my hair. The barrel is the perfect size for me to create the big, loose, beachy waves that I wear most days. The appearance of the curling iron is very striking and I love the metallic gold in contrast to the matte black. The handle is a rubberized soft touch which feels nice on the hands when holding it. I've been really impressed with this curling iron and it is my new favorite. I am so glad that I was able to try this product for from the Stellar Product Testing Panel
